In your walking towards the East Side Gallery from Checkpoint Charlie, you’ll come across a hidden wonder of the communist era, a covered public market, now transformed in a place for local food. It’s the ninth of the twelve markets like this in Berlin. It is hidden in a quite ordinary street, not very obvious like La Boccadilla in Barcelona. But once you enter it is a little wonder. It worths the visit there only by itself, for a lunch or some pics.
