Want a reason to visit Paris before valentines? Well try it next week for world croissant day, the 30th of January. When we say croissant we say France but is not true. We should say Austria according to historians. But the present is cruel and now is a French specialty. I checked accommodation and the best price is on Airbnb, a studio at 40 euros per night in the square La Nation, right next to Bastille. It is a fair area with a certain French charm at Père Lachaise cemetery and the canal St. Martin with his art and flea market.
This is a flight that lands at Beauvais so add another 30 euros the transfer return and an hour for each way by bus. It is not the best fare but it is a good one for such a short notice.
The price is valid with a wizzair subscription. Check also our stories about Paris.
