As I said in my previous post about the DON’Ts of Milan, this is not a city to return to so check everything you want in one visit. Now after I post a deal to Milan Fashion Week, I changed my mind and kind of having this feeling of revisiting some things:
- the Isola neighborhood with its narrow streets and Little prince graffiti. I always love to sit in a cafe and have my 5 o’clock aperitif with some free tapas. Must try for the nightlife also.
2. the Monumental Cemetery, on your way from Isola to Arco de la Pace. This is maybe the best surprise ever. Take a look at my post about this hidden creepy wonder. It is a place of rest and meditation especially in a hot summer day.
3. the polenta at Nox in the Navighli area, just on the border of the canal. After you eat stay for the drinks as the area is so lively.
This would be my first 3 thing to do in my first day to Milan but there are other like an opera concert if cheap tickets, a fashion week presentation and the Dome, every single time – still remains so impressive.
